EVENTS

Surf City Marathon and Half Marathon

Huntington Beach, CA

  • February 5th, 2017 – each year on Super Bowl Sunday
  • 20,000 Participants, 50,000 Spectators, 40,000+ Expo Visitors & 2,500 Volunteers
  • The unique appeal of this surf themed event draws active, educated and affluent participants from all over California and includes runners from all 50 states and 20 foreign countries
  • This is an oceanfront course. Run on Pacific Coast Highway, past the famous Huntington Beach pier and wind through the legendary surfing beaches of Southern California. Surf rock riff bands entertain along the way and the finish line beach party includes a beach side beer garden in the California sun.
  • Charity 1: Free Wheelchair Mission. Dedicated to providing wheelchairs for the impoverished disabled in developing nations.
  • Charity 2: Huntington Beach Kiwanis. Established in 1961, their volunteers serve the chilidren of their own community and assist less fortunate individuals in their neighborhoods.

Golden Gate Half Marathon

San Francisco, CA

  • November 6th, 2016, started in 2002
  • 7,500 participants & 15,000 spectators
  • The race kicks off on the waterfront in Aquatic Park on historic Muni Pier with sweeping views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge
  • The course travels through the Marina, Crissy Field, the Presidio and across the famous Golden Gate
  • Bridge — returning west, exposing breathtaking sights of the San Francisco cityscape & coastline
  • Finish line on the waterfront in Aquatic Park
  • Charity: St. Jude Heroes. Helping the lives of children battling cancer and other deadly diseases

Surf City USA 10 Mile, 10K & 5K

Huntington Beach, CA

  • October 23rd, 2016
  • 5,000 participants and 10,000 spectators
  • This run features fast and beautiful courses for the 10 Mile, 10K, 5K and Kid’s Run. Starts and finishes on Pacific Coast Highway and features entertainment every 1 mile for 10 miles along California’s coastline.
  • Costume contest, early start to kicking off Halloween
  • Charity: Project Self Sufficiency. Supporting Huntington Beach single parents earning their education to become self-sufficient

Livermore Half Marathon

Livermore, CA

  • March 26th, 2017
  • 5,000 participants & 8,000 spectators
  • Gorgeous course showcasing the Livermore Valley, Wine Region and Historic Downtown District
  • Wine Festival Finish with 13 of the finest local wineries for tasting
  • Charity: Healing Therapy Foundation. An organization helping cancer patients

The Town’s Half Marathon & 5K

Oakland, CA

  • August 11th, 2017
  • 4,000 participants & 10,000 spectators
  • Whole Foods Market Finish Line on the steps of City Hall
  • RunOak Finish Festival, a local collection of live music, food, beer & wine to reflect the romance and culture of Oakland
  • Charity: Running for a Better Oakland. An organization devoted to encouraging local youth to get back on the streets and living healthy lives
