Race organizers encourage runners to register soon for the 13.1 mile race and RunLiv Wine Festival through the scenic vineyards of Northern California

Livermore, Calif. (February 24, 2015) – RaceForce LLC, a leading endurance and athletic event production company based in Los Angeles, Calif., announced the second annual Livermore Half Marathon will sell out by early March 2015. Race organizers encourage runners to register soon for the 13.1 mile race through the scenic vineyards of Northern California.

“We were thrilled to have over 2,500 participants in the race’s inaugural year,” said Ryan Dawkins, Race Director of the Livermore Half Marathon.

“We are excited to continue growing the event while offering attendees a world-class experience featuring a one-of-a-kind route through the Livermore Valley and Wine Region, live entertainment and world-class cuisine. We are thankful for last year’s sponsors and thrilled to have so many returning and new sponsors including Vega Sport, Muscle Milk and 24 Hour Fitness,” added Dawkins.

Recently named the Livermore Destination Event Partner of the Year, the race start, finish and RunLiv Wine and Music Festival will take place in historic Downtown Livermore on March 28, 2015. Weekend highlights include the RunLiv Expo and RunLiv Wine and Music Festival featuring wine from local wineries, beer from Eight Bridges Brewing Company, and the best food and music Livermore has to offer.

Mallory Hayes of San Jose, Calif. participated in The Livermore Half Marathon in 2014 and is excited to participate again this year.

“Last year’s race was a very well-organized event with a beautiful course winding through downtown Livermore and then out into vineyards and park lands,” said Hayes.

“I grew up in Livermore, so it was especially nice for me to revisit old haunts and see the new vineyards. I am looking forward to running it with my friends again this year,” added Hayes.
